S3 and Waze. Now with burn in feature!

So, as the title says, my s3 screen now has some burn in from using Waze GPS app all day long. I drive 300 to 400 miles a day for work most days, and love using the app. Unfortunately some of the icons are not opaque and cannot be moved.

Here's my question. Is there any way to get rid of the ghosting? It's not terribly noticeable, but you know how we geeks are about things.

Id ask samsung for a replacement screen. Ive actualy got burn in after 10months but its all over the screen so isnt annoying but i might see if theyl replace it

I love the Waze, but I keep getting interrupted by a female voice asking for 'one more.'
how do I stop that.

Not sure about that one. The only time it really annoys me is when it repeats an exit name 4 times. That exit name being 6 different road names! Ouch!

I'll try the app that was suggested, and if it's no help maybe pop into the Sprint store.

Fellow Wazer and I love it. But this is something that worries me about Waze, Trapster, iBolt Dock and other static display apps that one might use when traveling. Curious to see if this could be called a manufacturing defect or a self-inflicted defect and whether it would be covered under the Samsung warranty.

When I use waze for extended time, I normally turn the screen off with the power button. If I'm about to cover 100 or so km on a highway, voice alone is good enough. I only get the screen back on, when the roads are getting more tricky. Given I use it daily, for almost a year, I yet to see any burn in.

I remember reading that sammy said theyd replace displays suffering burn in within the warranty period but dont think it was ever confirmed. Id be really interested to know because we have 2year warranty in the EU. mines already dull after like 10mnths so id hate to think what itl be like in another year. Im poor so ill still have this phone :)
