S3 crashing

So my Galaxy S3 keeps powering down during certain apps. It is usually larger apps that take up more space. I have cleared my RAM multiple times before opening the apps and also cut down my data usage by limiting incoming emails etc. It only just started doing this and I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm also having battery draining issues. Any ideas?

That sounds like a bad battery to me. Does it have this problem when it's plugged in? If not then I'd try a new battery.

I agree with Mydian. Sounds like your battery is going bad.

Another option........ Are you running a custom ROM and kernel? If so, do a factory rest, wipe cache, and Dalvik cache, then flash a different ROM and see if that solves your problem.
