Help S3 dalek sounds when in a call

Hi all
I'm having a issue with my samy s3 when I'm in a call from me or when reciveing a call
The only way I can describe it is like a Dalek or heavily distorted from the earpiece or speaker.
I sometimes have to end the call 3 times before it clears.
I have done a factory restore 2 times and it does go away for a week or two
Then back it comes.
I'm rooted with a stock rom purely because I wanted to use a large extended battery
With a mugen battery calibration app to clear the batt stats.
Any ideas guys coz I've no idea

If it helps clearing the call and recalling the person to make it work, then it is a service problem. call them. You may need a new Sim or an ota update for your existing Sim card

OK a new sim card is on its way as we speak....
But I did just notice that in the middle of a phone call it became all distorted again
It's not done that before a bit strange but there you go.
Should I do a factory restore and then put my new micro sim in and start from fresh.?

Put new sim in and see how it goes. You shouldn't need to do anything to the phone.

Just to save you some time and hassle, you don't need to ever wipe your battery stats. Some more info about it is here.

Hi guys have a look at this I think this explains it what has been happening to my S3 :
But I don't think there is a quick fix as yet unless samy release a s/w update to correct the soddy irish algorithm that's causing this issue

was having the same problem .i fixed it by downloading' SKTHidden menu' from app store.install open. >ultracfg network settings >network mode> changed from GLOBAL to GSM. bingo . just try the different network options until it works thank god that was driving me crazy everytime i made a call .ENJOY.
