Help S3 Data Slow?

For the past few days, my data has been slow - internet pages load exteremly slow, PlayStore half loads or I get "connection timed out" error or RETRY. Maps doesnt load with pictures, etc. I do get emails and my phone service is normal as are my SMS.

My data shows 4G LTE. I have done a Factory Reset and even a new SIM card from AT&T to no resolve.

AT&T explains there is a tower down in my area, but they dont sound convinced it explains my data issues - as my phone service in general would suffer.

Anyone else has thoughts?
 
I had issues with my s3 on att. It would be fast for a couple days then super slow for a couple days. I switched to Verizon before my 30 days were up. Best decision I ever made.
 
I can not speak for why you usually have trouble with your data speeds on AT&T with your S3, as mine is usually screaming fast, however, about a month ago one of the AT&T towers in my area was down, and my phone could not even hold a data connection at all, so that will definitely affect your data for the worse.

Thanks. I am hoping that is the issue. I have never had data issues in the past. Whats also weird is when I first contacted AT&T, the told me the wrong IEMI# was entered into their system. I dont know how what would change randomly. Even so, when they re-entered the correct #, it still didnt fix the issue.
