Help S3 freezing when going to homescreen

Hello,
Ive owned my s3 for awhile now and haven't had to many problems with it but I'm now starting to get one constantly. At times when I hit my home button from the message app(also google search), itll go to the home screen and freeze with only the app icon on the bottom of the screen, background and weather widget showing. It will be completely frozen. I can try and tap on the app icon that is there or my weather widget but it doesnt do anything. The only help is to lock it then wait a few seconds and unlock.

I did install go launcher in the past and im thinking its related to that but im not sure. I have removed the launcher but no help.

Any ideas?

which version of android are u running is ure phone rooted? Try restoring to factory settings and see if it solves ure issue

Its not rooted and im on 4.0.4 on at&t. I have thought about doing a reset but i really dont want to haha. Im hoping i can do something before resetting my phone.
