After a good few times when the S3 gets very hot near SIM/SD card end, and battery life goes into freefall, I have removed the SD card(Samsung 6 ) and found the phone quicker and more responsive. I have culled the amount of songs/pics I carry on it, just keeping the phone to the 16GB max.
I have had a 32 gb card(SanDisk 10 )which died within 3 months of using, got hot too- a 16 gb one which got hot- just removed- and an 8gb 6 Samsung sd which just seemed to work as it should.
Why does the phone get hot down in that region- is it the phone working overtime reading and writing to the sd card??
