Help S3 getting real warm while charging...

I had broken my screen 2 weeks ago and just got the phone back repaired. Last night after charging the phone for a bit I noticed it got real warm. Now today as I'm charging the phone, it's getting really warm again. the battery has been draining quite fast - including about 70% in a 7 hr period over night ? I also have an otterbox defender case on the phone. anybody else having this warm phone issue?

yea mine runs a little warm when charging. sounds like its normal. maybe pull it out of the case if you feel that its getting to hot.

Mine charges warm too. Try using GPS for an hour, it gets hot!

As in you left it sitting untouched and it drained 70% (i.e. was down to 30%)? That's not normal, some process is probably running. Do you know how warm in temperature? There are apps that can tell you. It'd be helpful since warm to touch can be so variable and subjective.
