S3 google account/merge problems

Samsung S3, How do I unmerge with a google account in the phone, all my contacts have now aquired a little blue google logo on them and it will no longer sink to windows contacts, each time I sync, which I can now only do to my gmail account, it also replicates some of the contacts, the ones added since I tapped the "merge" button, If I try and do a sync to "Windows Contacts" via Kies non of the contacts are transfered, I can only sync via contacts/accounts/google acc/sync and all the above happens HELP !

Is there any reason as to why they need to be syncing to Windows Contacts? Google Contacts are easier to keep backups of since it already syncs to cloud plus you can retrieve any mistakenly deleted contact until up to 30 days ago.

OP did not say he did not want the data in the cloud. He just wants them to sync to the computer. Because if all he wants is a backup or PC access, then he already has it. Then you can sync from Google to your computer contacts (I sync mine to Outlook).

My point is that my contacts are kept in Outlook and I use a sync solution (DejaOffice & Companion Link) to sync the phone and Outlook. I do things this way because I don't want all my contacts to be Google Contacts because then they would all be in the "cloud". There are lots of people who feel the same.

Ok, think I've sorted it. Without the phone plugged in I exported to USB, where ever that is, couldn't find that internal storage for love na money, but anyway, then I imported it back to phone contacts and 90% of the contacs in all "contacts display modes" had a small green phone logo attatched alongside the blue google logo, so I opened up kies and synced to windows contacts, Result, it synced, the 10% were, for some reason duplicates, I'll clean them up later, BANG ON !
ps deleted all my contacts from my gmail account !

Not sure how this works but this is for chanchan05
You seemed to understand the simplicity of what I was trying to achieve
but I reckon windows contacts is the one
