Help S3 keeps switching off.....

Please can someone help. I have an unrooted S3 and for the past month, when in idle mode, the screen stays black even when pushing the home button. So each time I have to hold power button untill the phone restarts. I cant find any help on searches and dont want to wipe my phone. Surely there is a fix? Cheers

That's really odd. Have you updated the phone by any chance? haven't dropped it or nothing?

Are you using stock lock screen? Does switching lock screen off help?

Not not dropped it mate and only updated like everyone else OTA. This is a commin probelm with S3 if you do a search. Just no answers on how to fix?

Yes currently using stock lock screen. Im gonna try that mate, good idea. Will let you know if fix!
