s3 keeps turning off after it finishes booting

OK so I got this weird problem, phone keeps turning off after it finishes booting. I already did a factory data reset, wipe cache and delvik cache. I'm currently running paranoid android on s3. I even flashed the stock ROM and s3 just shuts down when it gets to the unlock screen. Any ideas what this issue might be?

I'm thinking s3 is already giving up and need a new phone but I might be wrong.

Does it still happen while plugged in? It could be a bad battery.
