First off coming from years of jail breaking iPhones I can say overall all I'm pretty excitedover my new s3. And its swipe feature ours way more effective than the jail broken iPhone knock off I couldn't stand.
Being aware of the galaxy s3s Google talk and haptic features brings up some key board questions?
A: I use swipe to text however given I type I would like feedback or haptic (needless to say my jaikbroken iPhone had). I did enable it in settings but I still get no feedback.

B: Google talk or that siri like knock off..again Obama ny iPhone I had a "speech to text key" upon pressing it it'd begin recording a message which it'd put right into text WHEN YOU WERE FINISHED by tapping the done button....please tell me s3 has that and I'm just looking over it?

The option is there. If you place your cursor in a text box you will see a symbol appear at the top left of the notification bar. Pull down your notification bar and press select input method and choose Google voice typing. Or if you use the Swype beta keyboard you can just press the symbol that looks like a fire (second from right on the bottom row)

I've just had a play with the Samsung keyboard. If you long press the settings button (bottom row second from left) you can change it to speech to text.

Yes there's a lot to play around and learn thank you. I also learned that my haptic was off due to power saving mode
