Help S3 Kies Firmware update Keeps Exiting.

trying to update to jelly bean on my sim free s3.
It downloads the firmware update then just exits the update app and kies.
using windows 7 anyone know what the problem is tried it on both laptop and pc and same stage it just exits.

hi,

its a crock of sh*t unfortunatey - i tried it about 8 times on my pc - eventually got to the installing phone update and kies just ended!

tried it again on a different pc - same grief as before, but this time it actually did update phone

Are your phones rooted with a custom recovery?
