S3 loudspeaker vs. S2 and 4S

The latest PhoneArena shootout puts the GS III against the 4S. Of course the GS III came out on top in every area -- save one. They said that the speaker on the GS III is weak and not as loud as the 4S.

Now, I have had a 4S, I know they are loud and mostly because of Siri. I also know that my GS II is just as loud. I REALLY, REALLY hope they did not downgrade the speaker on the GS III. If so, I will be VERY disappointed. Maybe they just got a bad unit??

The reviews are rubbish, previews on other sites provide much more information then their reviews do.

They are just rushing out this stuff to get hits and it's working.

Yes, the international version comes with headphones.

But the one that will come to the States, will it have them also? I Don't need any headphones, but it is nice to have a matching set that goes with the phone.

I do not know what the US version will come with, but I would think they would include them, but it is not a deal breaker for me.

It's not a deal breaker for me neither. It's more of a bonus for me. I'm really looking forward to this phone. It will be my first Samsung smart phone.

Where is the speaker on the S3? Hopefully it isn't on the back like the Captivate or get ready to master the hand cupping phone hold method.

I believe it is on the back. The chrome speaker grill opposite the flash on the camera. I think most phones do have them on the back for some unknown reason. Hate it on my DX. The hand cup makes a huge difference...sad that I have to do that.
