Help S3 Micro OTG to USB Error Message

My S3 Micro OTG to USB Storage Adaptor does not automatically detect any mass storage. Instead an error message is displayed;

"Blank USB Storage, blank or has unsupported file system".

However my S3 does recognise that the USB Connector is connected but not any Mass Storage device.

Any Suggestions?

Need more details.

What kind of device are you attaching (flash drive, portable hard drive, ?).
What filesystem is on your device (NTFS, FAT(16 or 32), ext3/4)
What model of S3 do you have (international or US).

I have found that my Kingston mass storage USB stick was a "ntfs" file system. Once I formatted the drive and converted it to a fat32, the S3 found the mass storage device.

Q. Does the S3 only support the "fat32" file system?
