Help S3 Music - Alternative for Kies

OK, I've given up on ever being able to sync Outlook, but I MUST be able to update and change my music (probably 90% of my phone capacity at this point)

Any suggestions on a program, preferably free or low-cost, that I can do this with?

Kies 3 recognizes my phone, but can't read anything!

Just copy the files to and from your phone the same way you'd copy them from and to another hard drive. The phone should show up on your computer, and you should be able to see the files in it.

Not properly. The folders show up, but no pictures or music, except about 15 files. It's weird. I can't do anything with it. My phone is almost full of photos and music, but Kies doesn't 'see' them and neither does the laptop.

For Outlook, I highly recommend AkrutoSync. This will sync your contacts, calendar and tasks (can also sync notes, but not with the native S-Note app). Contacts, calendar and tasks use the native apps on your phone.

For music (since you can't mount your phone as a drive) use the WiFi FTP app on your phone together with FileZilla on your PC and transfer any files and folders using Wi-Fi.
