S3 Overcharging?

You do get an icon in the upper left corner and a notice in the notifications when it's fully charged. Many charging circuitry do include trickle charge so a device doesn't loose charge while plugged in, but I haven't left my SIII plugged in long enough to see if it goes less than 100%.

No, the S3 doesn't overcharge. You do have to be cautious when using accessories that were not specifically designed for the S3, but most phones use a standard of voltage/current that make many things interchangeable.

Circuitry INSIDE the phone prevents overcharging so no matter how you charge, you device will stop it from over charging.

I did find the Samsung chargers, cheap, on eBay and prefer to use them but have used a charger from my Blackberry with perfect results.

Just relax and enjoy!

The "Unplug Charger" is just a liability thing and not required.

I plug the charger into my GS3 at night before going to bed and in the morning it's charged to 100%. So it does not lose charge while still on the charger after it reaches 100%.
