Ive tried qpst and im not a noob in how to do it I had a friend suggest that perhaps my version is outdated I suppose ill take that into consideration since the gs3 dosnt have internet mode but thanks anyways.

Make sure that u have the s3 drivers install on your computer. plug the phone into the computer get anycut.apk and install it and select shortcut IOThiddenMenu. from the hidden menu select usbsetting menu and select RMNET+DM+Modem. use cdma workshop and find what port u r connected to and click connect on the main tab. then go to "other" tab and click read prl and it should save the prl from your phone. u have to go back to the hidden menu shortcut and set back to MTP+ADB.

cool thanks bud yea i was using qpst and doing all those steps but it wasnt detecting my phone to even read from it but thanks im gonna download that.

Ya qpst not working with the s3 for some reason can't get service programming working.

Not possible.on any phone that would be impossible.

On the s3 you can flash the prl without connecting to the computer

um okay. i already flashed the gs3 prl to my esteem. Seems like it did increase the speed a little bit but its still uncertain.

It took me like 20 minutes for me to get it to show up properly on a port
