Help S3 randomly vibrating

Hi all,

First post on the forum so hopefully it's in the right place. On Friday I bought a S3 and had been loving it until last night! Not sure if this is related but last night I put it on charge and it started to vibrate randomly. There was no pattern, it just vibrated randomly but this was happening every few seconds. It stopped when I locked the phone to go to sleep.

Any ideas? I'm tempted to just return the phone to the shop I bought it from but obviously wouldn't want to do this if there's something I'm missing.

Thank you in advance
Grace

Just curious, do you have auto haptic turned on? I found TuneIn radio was vibrating in sync to tunes playing when I had auto haptic turned on. Might be related. Other than that, not a clue. Cheers!

Thanks for your reply. Auto haptic is turned off but haptic feedback is on. I'm also without a clue so will just go back to the shop tomorrow. Thanks

Just a quick update - I've managed to identify the vibration is a result of the phone randomly disconnecting and reconnecting itself to the charger. It's doing this both when it's connected to the mains or charging via my laptop. Can only assume the port is faulty so will be taking it back to 3 tomorrow.
