s3 red charging led problem ???

Hi all , quick question but when I put my s3 on charge in a lit up room the red led is quite bright when its on charge , but at night when I put it on charge the red led goes dimmer because its in a dark room , anybody had this problem ???? So basically charging led is bright when on charge during the day or in a well lit up room but goes dim when in the dark , weird , must say tho the led was always bright when on charge no matter whether day or night until recently , cheers , Dave

I haven't really paid that much attention to mine.

If you want to change the color of your LED i suggest the Liteflow App. You can personalize the LED light for various things and choose different colors

I never noticed but its probably using the ambient light sensor and lowering the LED voltage to save power. Pretty smart really. Definately not a fault

Not sure why it's a problem? Far as I know it's supposed to do that, mine always has anyway.

it is a normal function of the ambient light sensor as mentioned above. shine a flashlight on the phone in a dark room and the LED will become brighter.
