Hi again guys, My Nexus 5 finally arrived today and so far im very impressed.

A couple of things are bothering me though, 1 obviously the UI doesn't look as polished as the Samsung UI (matter of taste I know) what are the 3rd party UIs like?

2. I use the stock Samsung video player ALL THE TIME to one click stream videos Im watching from my phone to my TV via DLNA is there a similar video app on the play store?

3. Video player again - Do any 3rd party video player apps allow you to minimise the video your watching so you can continue to browse the phone and watch a small moveable video window as per S3.

I think that's it for now!

Thanks in advance.

There are more options than I could possibly list here, with varying ranges of polish. The most popular right now seems to be Nova Launcher, which gives you a variety of features to change the interface. It's an extremely polished app.

There's also a new app called, "Themer," which is a little more extreme. It's still in beta, so there might be a few issues, but you can completely change the look of the interface.

I haven't done much with DLNA apps. I'm certain there's a replacement. Are you watching local media or streaming? I only ask because, if you're streaming media, I'd look into a Chromecast. It's relatively inexpensive and has some significant advantages over DLNA (for example, you can use the phone for whatever you want while watching media on your TV).

Thank you for the quick reply. Ill look into nova now.

I watch local media on my phone then stream when needed from my phone to the TV.

seems like you actually really liked touch wiz and its features, why didn't you just get the S4?
