Help S3 signal indicator

Hi all.

I'm having difficulty reading the indicator bars on my S3. I find the layout difficult to tell what my signal strength is. i.e if I have two or three bars. It's just not very bright. Is there any other downloads or skins I can use (Without rooting) that will give me a more easily identifiable signal bar?

Do these actually sit on the screen though? or do I have to click on the app each time?

No, Network Signal Info has six different widgets for to show the info on the home screen.
