Help S3 Top Bar - Unknown Icon

Hi there

This isn't Samsung's standard icon, I believe they are specific to Korean S3 versions and certain telco provider.
It indicates that the video call feature is not available, and I don't know of any way to get rid off it.

thank you. yes, i got my s3 from korea. wonder if i want to unlock the phone or not.
any idea where and is it alright to unlock the international phone?

If you are using the phone outside of Korea without any problem, then highly likely, it's an unlock unit, just that it runs on different firmware, designated for Korean market.

You can always load different firmware. There are places on line where you can find whatever version you want and flash the phone with ODIN. You can even flash with custom roms developed by 3rd party, like the very well known cyanogen from: CyanogenMod | Android Community Rom based on Jelly Bean
