Help S3 USB to PC issues

Hi,

I just purchased an S3, however, it will not connect to my computer.

If I reboot my computer, it will connect shortly and if I move the USB cable it will disconnect and say "Device not recognised". I have to uninstall the USB device and then re-connect, and only then, sometimes will it work.

This is extremely annoying.

I do not have another micro USB to test with, but I have tested on two computers.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you install the drivers?

I had the same exact problem even after installing the drivers. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate. It seems to be a known issue if you google the problem. I went and bought a PCI-E 3.0 USB card and installed it. Now I have no problems seems from what I've learned is USB 3.0 works and 2.0 gives problems. I can't say this will work for everyone, but it solved my problem.
