Help S3 Video Buffering issue

I've got the same problem where hd YouTube plays fine on 3g but not on WiFi. Apparently the problem can be solved by going into your router settings and changing the dns to Google's. So dns1 is 8.8.8.8 and dns2 is 8.8.4.4. I can't confirm if it works though as I have a bthomehub which doesn't let you change the dns settings.

What if you give yourself a static IP address in the wireless network settings of the phone (long press network > Modify > Show advanced) as then you default to DNS 8.8.8.8. and 4.4.4.4 as my phone does.

I use static at home like this (also homehub user), but not on my work WiFi. The work AP has google DNS too, so you may well be on to something there. Both these networks work fine
