Yeah I tried it with it off and with it on restarted the phone when I switched both times. Didnt work unfortunately.

Cavy I found out why I couldn't connect. It had nothing to do with Nova. I had to connect via PTP and not MTP. Once I selected PTP I was all good to go. No issues after that. Hope that helps. It did for me.

Tried it, my laptop doesnt even make the sound of a device connecting when in PTP mode for some reason.

Having the same issues with my wife's SIII since the update earlier this week. Differant computers, differant USB cables & ports... Also will not connect over wifi OR Bluetooth.

So last I synced my phone was about a month ago so I went to sync it again yesterday to get all my new music and an error popped up saying "USB Device not recognized" So I went to another computer same thing. One is running win8 the other win7. I uninstalled Kies and all driver and reinstalled them on both computers same thing USB error. I tried my girlfriends S3 today and it connected no problem. So I know its a problem with my phone and not my computers. I have tried clearing the cache rebooting in safe mode and download mode, pulling out the battery and sim and pretty much everything else with no fix. What else am I missing here or what should I try?

Have you tried to connect ti kies via wireless?
