Help S3 wont connect to infiniti via bluetooth for audio use

My car is a 2012 G37. My phone will pair with it and function perfectly as a phone. But when I go into Bluetooth settings and check the Audio Media check box, it auto unchecks and I can't seem to get my car to connect to my phone as a media device.. from what I've gathered, 2010+ models do have Bluetooth streaming. I've tried deleting profile and reconnecting several times with no luck.

I'm using a stock i9300 on att with the latest firmware.

Any suggestions?

I have the same issues. I can get both to work, but have to re pair every time I get in the car. It is aggravating.

I can't even get it to connect as an audio device.. is there anything in particular you did? The phone part of it connects automatically just fine for me.
