S4 Active?

I see they're finally talking about the Active officially. I was holding on to my Casio Commando to upgrade to another waterproof smart phone. But it looks like it's going to AT&T.

What are the chances that Verizon will get it tool?
 
Someone on another forum said the active drops July 1st for Verizon. Just a rumor from a non-credible source.
 
I've read that the active ain't so great, uses the same cheap plastic battery back as the S4. And the thing filled with water.

When is the commando 2 coming out?
 
I haven't looked into the Commando 2 too much because I'm not crawling through mud, rain, and tears anymore. How's it look as a replacement for the commando?
 
I've heard a few negative comments but I'm probably getting one. I like my 3G version for the most part. The only reason I rooted it was to make room. 16 GB seems like plenty to me. I'm also glad it's not much if any bigger. It's not the tip of the spear as far as bells and whistles but I seem to remember when the gen 1 came out the 4G phones were starting to hit the market.

As active as I am, I need a rugged phone NOT a 5.8 inch "tablet" with a case.
