Short end of it is that my S4 has a broken screen. I can hear calls coming in and everything seems to work but the touch screen and there's nothing visible on the screen.
I need to copy the contacts over to my old S2 for the time being. I've tried both versions of Kies, but it only seems to recognize one of the phones, not allowing me to restore to the other phone. I've also tried smart switch with similar results. I never saved anything to the cloud.
Any way to get those contacts off the S4 and send over to the S2 without paying someone to fix screen for $150?
Also, it may be best for me to just purchase a newer galaxy and port over from the S4 that way, but I'm concerned then that the software that recognizes the new phone won't then recognize the old S4 and will have a similar problem.
