S4 dead!

Hi there!
I bought a used SGS4 on eBay a couple of months ago and it worked fine. After some small issues I rooted the device with Odin. I then also bought a new battery (an ANKER) and used the phone this way for a couple of weeks. No big problems apart from some small charging issues.
But then:
One day I used up my entire phone battery (as done often before with no problems) and hooked it up to my charger over night (the same charger as always) but the next morning it just wouldn't turn on anymore -no matter what I did. I seriously tried everything:
taking the battery out / putting it back in
hard reset / soft reset
tried multiple different chargers and cables
cleaning it ..
and what not. All the things you can find on the internet concerning this problem. I even took the phone apart, but there seemed to be nothing I could do.

Unlike what most people experienced:
My phone does not turn on, is not recognized by my PC does not vibrate, no lights, NOTHING!!!

I'm thankful for any help!

p.S. I posted the same thread in the "root" area, but I figured, it might be better here...

Need a new charged battery. Your battery is completely shit.

Plus this will show.if your charging port is dead too.

PS how did you do any resets with a dead phone?

I would suggest you purchase a Genuine Samsung battery. If you can't charge the new battery - the USB charging port assy may be faulty and need renewal. If you want to change it yourself be careful to procure the correct part! The identifying marks are located on the circuit board to the right of the USB port.
