S4 firmware update?

Hi

Recently my phone has been doing random weird things, closing apps, draining battery super fast, not loading messages, the keyboard freezing and lagging, lock button not working...

I did the factory reset through settings however that didnt change the problem.

Someone mentioned something about loading the moat recent firmware amd updating the rom? (Not sure if that even makes sence)

Im not very technically savy so any advice is greatly appreciated

4.4.2 looks pretty recent, and may well be the most recent for your network. Check for software updates in the settings menu (Settings > About is the usual place, Samsung of course may move things a little). If there isn't an update there then unless you want to get into rooting (which from what you say I don't think you do) then you are already on the newest software.

Did anything change before this started? You might get better advice in the S4 section of Android Forums - I'll ask one of the moderators to move the thread.
