Help S4 mini Boot Loop

Is it safe to connect phone to PC without its battery in? I think it is, but mixed answers online..
Would there be any possible benefit from this?
Tried it before, but only briefly. Wasn't promising
 
With the errors in recovery when you preformed a factory reset and the fact that flashing the stock firmware is successful but it still will not boot into system is definitely pointing to a hardware problem.
You could weigh the cost of a replacement motherboard against the cost of a replacement phone.
I don't think there is anything else you can try to revive this one.
