S4 Mini buyers remorse?

Carrier VZN; phone Samsung Galaxy S4 mini; still within 14days. Upgraded from HTC Incredible 3G. The difference is night and day as it relates to performance and features; however, if y'all were to do it again - would you have gotten the S4 mini or - something else?

TY

It depends on what you want, what you need and your budget. I need a large screen. (I'm 71, and have cataracts starting.) I wanted a phone I wouldn't have to replace for at least a few years. And I could afford a Note 3. (And I couldn't afford to put up with Verizon - I've already had a couple of heart attacks, I don't need another one.)

Your mileage differs, so you have to make your decision based on your wants, needs and ability to pay.

I am happy except for the battery life. I am looking to order a zero lemon battery. Ive had mine since January. I pissed my pants New Years eve and my phone was in my pocket. I woke up and I had waterlogged my damn phone, since I couldnt make it to the litterbox. So I ruined my s3 and upgraded to s4 mini.

I did a factory reset(made sure to save usernames, passwords, data, etc.) and did factory reset. Verizon cloud I used to save my texts and contacts and apps not in the play store. Its much faster and has better battery life. I just spent several hours getting everything back to the way I wanted it, but oh well!
MEOW!

I've had the mini for some months now & I really like mine, especially since I safe rooted it to avoid the KitKat update, and killed all the unwanted, unneeded stuff running behind the scenes. It runs better, battery lasts longer, and it only does what I want it to and nothing else.

One of the main complaints often made about the KitKat update is excessive battery drain. And that's just one of the main complaints. But you how the internet is, complaints tend to outpace compliments by a large degree. Normally I'm on board with OS updates, but in this case I decided I like my Mini just as it is and for now, I don't care to be forced to update when, as far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong with my phone. All of the apps still update, just not the OS.

Broke my s3 with 7 months remaining on my contract, was going to get a rubbish phone and wait the 7 months to upgrade, but gf convinced me it was a waste of money doing that.
However I'm not liking this phone at all, I loved my s3 but s4 mini doesnt seem to do anything cool that I want it, I wanted the galaxy note 3. Should have listened to myself!!
