My S4 mini has been overheating and freezing - either it slows down and I'm unable to log in, or the screen is blank. I'm only able to fix things by restarting it or removing the battery.
I returned my original phone (Russian I think) on warranty and had it replaced with what looks like a UK phone. The same thing has happened to it this morning.
Often this happens after I haven't been using the phone for a while.
Is this a known issue? If it looks like a misbehaving app, is there any way that I can get an inkling about which app? Are there any popular apps which do this? I've checked out Wakelock Detector, but that doesn't report anything suspicious - the main active third-party apps are FolderSync and Kaiten Mail.
