S4 wearable tech

Hi there. Is there wearable tech out there that will give heart rate, pedometer without giving notifications of incoming messages etc? If not, is there tech out there that you can manually turn off these notifications? I currently use my S4's pedometer when I work out. I don't want to know about emails while I'm in the zone. I don't want the bother of manually entering data into S Health once I've finished either.

The Samsung Gear 2 lets you control which apps can send notifications from the phone. I would expect that the Gear Fit does also, but I can't say for sure.
