Hello, I recently purchased an unlocked GS5. As of yesterday I have not been able to connect to my mobile service provider data plan. I am not getting any bars even though before I was getting service in the same area. The connectivity is non-existent. I have gotten a new sim and all so I know the actual service is working but for some reason my phone will no connect at all. I have even factory reset the phone. Gone through the settings etc to no avail. I am wondering can some help me figure out how to fix this issue and get the phone to recognize the sim and mobile network? Thank you!

my first suggestion is to enable then disable airplane mode.. but im guessing it wont help
second suggestion is to go to setting/more networks(under network connections tab)/mobile networks/network mode, then select any random one... give the phone a second, then reselect your default mode (make sure your actually using the correct data service for your device as well)
3rd suggestion is check out the APN (access point names) under the same menu option as #2, just see what is there..
also can you provide a little more info.. what carrier was the device originally? and what service do you have for it now?

I tried your suggestions however none of them worked.
My device is originally from South Korea, which is where I live. However I am currently in the states. My service provider is T-mobile here and I am not sure what network the phone was on (if any) in South Korea. I have gone to T-mobile but they say since it is not their phone they can be of little service to me. The Samsung USA people are also of little service because it's a South Korean phone as well and I don't have proof of purchase with me here.
