Help s5 email setup

Which app? The OEM default app?

I'm using myMail and the only menu item is "Prompt before deleting messages".

Deleting messages is a function of your email host, not normally the app that is accessing the host. I have my Yahoo account set up to Never delete any message unless I do it manually. I have some legal messages that are over 10 years old still setting in folders for archival purposes.
