This now makes 142 Samsung released firmwares for Lollipop, worldwide, covering 5 different S5 models, both unbranded and lightly carrier branded and so far there has been no major issues. (I do not include the Verizon release as that is not an official Samsung released firmware.)

Whilst not a new Lollipop release for these 2 CSC codes, there is a so-called, "bugfix", update for...


NEE = Nordic Countries update from NL9 -> OB7

TEN = Norway (Telenor) update from OA3 -> OB7 ***

(N.B. These are on the new OB7 firmware with Mute toggle and Screen pinning).

*** Congratulations to Telenor of Norway who managed to get the OB7 update out on their lightly carrier branded firmware in only 11 days after the initial release!

The answer to your question is... Yes and No.

If you flash the Panama release it will have an English language pack but not one for Indonesia. Also, by flashing a firmware other than that intended for your phone, you will void your warranty. See #1.11 of 35 Galaxy S5 models - know yours??? which gives the same warning. You will also, no longer be able to update your phone via OTA or Kies.

This is one of those, "How long is a piece of string?", questions. The SM-G900R6 Galaxy S5 is a carrier branded phone for Bluegrass Cellular, see 37 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide which means that at this moment, I doubt that Samsung know the answer to your question as they will be waiting on Bluegrass to add all their, "features", to whatever build of Lollipop that they plump for. There is only one unbranded Galaxy S5 version for the U.K. and that is CSC code = OXA, (CSC: G900FOXA1BOC7), Product code = BTU, (unbranded U.K.). OXA, (generic) = worldwide and BTU narrows it down to a particular model/carrier. When I do my posts, I use the CSC code and translate the Product code into a particular model and carrier to make it easier for people.
