Not a Samsung release. This is the long awaited, "bugfix", update for the hybrid minority carrier model for Verizon, SM-G900V, (see #1.6 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide)...


VRU = U.S.A (Verizon)
(Build OD5 on changelist #4782027)


This is being rolled out by Verizon, OTA, over the next coming days and weeks.

:D Cricket (Now an AT&T MVNO) S5 got the Lollipop update recently! G900AZTUU2BOE2 is the name of said firmware update! However, the firmware update is available over KIES 3 for now. No waiting for OTA! Also, Cricket S5 users, your bootloader is unlocked! :)

C-Spire owners of the U.S. carrier minority variant of the Galaxy S5, SM-G900R7, have received a further Lollipop,Android 5.0, update to G900R7WWU3BOF3 on changelist #4538308 (no change from the previous release OC2). This looks to be, as with some other U.S. models, a bloatware update as opposed to an update of the actual Lollipop firmware.

The above are all unbranded and on Android 5.0, OE5 build, with changelist #4920185. Compare this to the heavily carrier branded T-Mobile (USA) release on Android 5.1.1, allegedly, with a changelist of only #5117004

Personally, I would have expected a much higher changelist from a firmware that had bypassed 5.0.1 and 5.0.2 and was on 5.1.1 and was also heavily carrier branded.:confused:
