S5 mp4 jerky in Win 10

I had to record a few short videos on my Marshmellow S5. I don't shoot videos; I did these to video some friends dog training. I just pressed thd video button on the S5 camera and got a series of vidoes.

Later I transferred these to a Dell Win. 10 laptop.

The videos run smoothly on my S5 but jerky on "Movies and TV" on Win 10; seems like only playing some frames.

Downloaded VLC to laptop, loads the video but only shows one frame; pressing play button does nothing.

What am I doing wrong to get either jerky videos or one frame in Win. 10? Should I use special setting when recording for later use in Win. 10?

Many of the Windows 10 default players are less than the best. If you can select Windows Media Player (standard on Win 7) your issue will vanish.

Hi, Windows Media player is built into Windows 10, they just hide it I will post how to access it if you need it. Phil
