Help s5 not connecting to samsung kies

does anyone know why my galaxy s5 won't connect to samsung kies?its driving me mad

sorry forgot to mention I'm using an iMac,it connects now and again but not everytime

Do you have the proper Samsung drivers installed on your iMac?

choose PC or laptop and fill in the blanks until you get to the correct carrier/phone

You might try downloading and installing it again. I did that recently and it downloaded driver updates.
