My home phone has a feature called Locate Me which forwards calls to my home to any number I designate. This worked fine with my S3 & was working on my S5 until my OS was updated to Lollipop 5.0. Now when a call to my home phone forwards to my S5 all that happens is "Forwarded Call" flashes on the screen & I get a missed call indicator. My wife has a S3 with Kit Kat OS, if I add her number to my Locate Me feature when a call comes into our home phone her S3 shows forwarded call & rings multiple times as it should. Wondering if it was a Samsung issue I took my son's HTC One M8 with the Lollipop OS & forwarded the home phone to it. Tested it and his phone flashed forwarded call then displayed a missed call, same as my S5. This indicates to me it is a Lollipop OS issue, not a phone manufacturer or carrier issue as we all 3 have AT&T and everything works as designed on the Kit Kat OS.
Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a resolution? I like being able to have my home phone forwarded to my cell but that feature is useless if my cell doesn't ring when the forwarded call comes through. As it is I have no idea the call came through until I see the missed call indicator on my cell.
Any ideas, thoughts, bright ideas etc. will be appreciated.
