Help S5 Samsung Keyboard (how it learns)

Hi all. I've been using the S5 keyboard from Samsung as of late (versus the Google keyboard) and noticed that in the settings, there's an area to tap which says "Learn from Messages."

Does this need to be tapped once every couple weeks to make sure the keyboard is actually learning? The reason I ask is because after tapping it, it updates with the date it last "learned."

Nope, once you turn it on, it will monitor your replies and pop up predicted words.

It works, but it is no where as good as using SwiftKey.

Do yourself a favor and install the SwiftKey keyboard. It is a blessing to our fingers. It also has swipe as an option if you use the swipe word writing method. I don't, but it works well.

OK. Thank you. Currently using google keyboard as I found the prediction to be slightly more accurate.
