s5300 galaxy problems

my galaxy s5300 was working fine all of the sudden , it doesn't seem to charge properly and also gets as far as to type the security code , the screen freezes and the phone turns it self off?

Hi

That sounds like the battery is flat. Try a different charger. If no good try/buy a new battery.
