S6 - 32bg or 64gb

Hello,

Long time android user but first time on here.

I'm getting the S6 in the next week or two and wanted to see what people thought of the data capacity and how it works for them.

I know it's user specific so here's how my S4 data is used (16gb):
- System Memory= 6.26gb
- Used Space (pics, apps, audio) = 4.05gb (A lot of apps and pic, minimal audio)
- Cached data = 330mb
- Misc file = 582mb
Free space = 4.8gb

My S4 seems to have slowed significantly in the last year (maybe less) so I wanted to see which memory would be best for me. I would think the 32gb is enough but more is always better (64gb).

Would a 64gb over a 32gb make a big difference in speed (enough to justify getting it)?

Thanks

You've used about 5GB on your S4. In fact with almost 5GB free I doubt very much that your storage use has anything to do with the slowing down you've experienced .

So unless you anticipate using a lot more space a 32GB model should be fine. Of course you say nothing about the removable SD card in your S4 - since the S6 doesn't have an sd slot if you are using one you should add whatever is on there to your storage requirement.

Thanks Hadron.

I was thinking the 32gb anyway but I thought I'd throw this out there and see what people thought.

I have chosen the s6 64GB and I'm happy :)
If you choose 32GB you only get 23GB because the system and pre-installed apps take some.
