Help S6 Edge no signal, Help

hi i have a s6 edge with the marshmallow on, since the update my phone has been strange, i put my EE simcard in and i have no signal, and emergency call only, i put a O2 card in and it works fine,

but i have had the sim card changed 3 times and still the same issue, and also i put the sim card in my HTC m9 and it is fine, it just seams that the phone does not like EE
 
Did you buy it new or second hand? If second hand, could be blacklisted by EE for some reason, like a delinquent contract. What you're describing sounds like they symptoms of a blacklisted IMEI, rather than a problem with the update.

I received the update two days ago and sadly I seem to have joined the ranks of people experiencing this problem.

I get NO signal whatsoever at home, at work, or in any building for that matter. When I'm on the move I only occasionally get a couple of bars (h) but not enough strength to even use the internet. Most of the time it's "no signal". It was only when I was standing below to a tall building with masts on that I was Able to get 4g. As soon as I moved away though it was back to "emergency calls only". To be honest I've always had reservations about the quality of reception on this handset and had to rely on wifi calling when home, for example. Now that doesn't work either. On my previous phone (HTC One) I had at least two 4g bars at home. I only had this handset for about three months, what are my options? I've already performed a hard reset in recovery mode to no avail.

ok, there is a guy at work that has a S6 Edge on ee too, I took my card out of my phone and put it in his and it works, put his card in my and same issues, emergency call only, and no data, but he is running a different marshmallow version,

both phones unlocked
 
I changed the lte/3g/2g auto connect to 2G and it seams to be working, so not sure why the other is not working
 
But you won't be getting any LTE or 3G signal. But that means your EE connection is working. Is your friend's SIM EE as well? From what you're saying seems like there's just a problem with EE's LTE signal in your area if other network's LTE works on your phone.
 
his ee sim works fine in his phone and gets 4g and his works in his too, put them in my phone and then issues
