S6 front facing camera issue or software? ! help

When I am using the front facing camera(default camera app)(selfie mode) to take pictures the display stutters/lag when I move my camera. But when I change to vintage effect for example everything is smooth but when I switch back to no effect it starts to lag/stutter again. is it the software that is causing this problem ?

There have been a few reports of this issue. Most likely a software problem otherwise it would continue to be an issue under different settings like vintage etc. Could be related to its autofocus not being as effective under certain conditions or its color processing. Just guessing here. Does it occur under bright light any less than in a darker environment?

I have figured out what cause the camera to lag and your guess is right !
If you are in a darker environment the selfie mode will start to lag because the camera will then try to capture a " low light picture". When I tried the front camera selfie mode in the bright light the lag dissappeared.
I think the software can't handle low light selfie capture well yet.
