s6 touch device to transfer everything?

Am I wrong or when you factory reset an s6 gives you option of touching phones to transfer everything? I thought that was or am I wrong and or did they remove that option/feature? Wondering because be way faster if I can do that with new phone I'm planning on getting.

You need to use smart switch. Never owned the s6, but all Sammy phones can use smart switch.

I'll have to have smart switch on the other phone as well or does it come preinstalled on newer phones?
