S7 audio right channel missing

new to the forum. HELLO!

now to my issue...my S7, which I got in May, has been bugging me due to the fact that while using headphones I do not get any right channel audio.

I have tried many different cables and headphones, it's definitely the phone. I chatted with a samsung CS the other day and he had me boot the phone in SAFE MODE, and for some reason it started working. rebooted and back to the same issue. he claims it is a 3rd party app and i need to either figure it out or do a factory reset. I've tried force stopping a lot of apps and uninstalling ones i dont really need, but i can't seem to pin down what app could possibly be causing this

any ideas new friends?

Tried all of that. force stopping basically every app didn't seem to make a difference either (if it is supposed too

my next question- if i did a factory restore and then restored my google backup, would I most likely end up in the same situation?

if worked in safe mode, but not normal mode, then it's definitely a downloaded app. remove what was recently installed or updated and retest. you could tear it down 1x1 until you find the problem app and then reinstall the rest, but it might be best, depending on how many apps you have, to factory reset and install 1x1 until the problem returns. either way it's time consuming... and should allow you to isolate the problem app at some point.
