S7 data usage

Hi all.
Got my S7 about a month ago very pleased atm. Just a little something annoying me and was wondering if there is a solution!
My data usage record on my S7 says I've used 38.81GB since 2nd October!
Although in all the years I've had a mobile I've never used more than 1.2GB in any month and EE have told me I've used way less than 1GB!!
My S7 seems to malfunctioning and telling me I've used more data than I actually have, my contract limit is 8GB, which I doubt I will ever use. EE have assured me the phone is at fault and they will sent a warning text if I near my contract limit. I have reset the 'change cycle, to coincide with my monthly bill.

Please go to data usage and see which app has used how much data.

Thanks for the reply. I've checked and it is fb! But I also realised what my mistake is, bearing in mind I am 54 and remember the days before mobile phones and pcs, you know when people spoke to each other! lol.
I for some reason keep getting Mbs mixed with Gbs. My original above message was in Mbs but I edited it to Gbs when I realised my error. So my data usage is actually in Mbs atm way below my max.
