S7 Do Not Disturb Doesn't Work Properly for Message+

I have the Galaxy S7. I have Priority Apps turned off - I manually turned off the priority setting for every single application on the phone. I have a few family members listed as Favorites and I need them to be able to contact me during my DND time, while simultaneously blocking work related messages/calls while I'm sleeping (I have teams in other countries who forget about time zones).

My Do Not Disturb settings are set to turn on at 22:00 and off again at 7:00. I have customized DND to only allow Favorites to call and text. I have tested this both during the automated DND time and also by manually activating it. In addition, I tested this both in normal and in Safe Mode. The results were the same, no matter what I did.

When DND is on and I have my sound/vibrations turned on:
Messages from my favorites only vibrate, they do not make their notification sound.
Messages from others also vibrate, but are not restricted as they should be with DND.

So there seems to be some sort of issue with the vibration setting as it pertains to DND and notifications through Message+?

I'm having the same issue (Galaxy S7, Nougat, Verizon). It doesn't appear to be restrictive to any one app, so basically any app that has a vibrate notification is still vibrating when I have Do Not Disturb mode on. The one that bothers me the most is my alarm clock because it notifies you about a half hour before the alarm goes off that there's an "Upcoming alarm". I also have notification reminders on, so every 5 minutes it vibrates again, buzzing on my night stand next to my head waking me up early.

In the advanced App Notifications I have "Show Silently" turned on and it's not set as a "Priority App". Even when I disable Alarms under the "Allowed Exceptions" it still vibrates. I also tried disabling the "Allow Notifications" under the Advanced Notification Settings for the Alarm Clock and that does indeed work, however, it also stops the Alarm's swipe to dismiss screen from popping up. This means I have to navigate the app half awake to get the alarm to be quiet, which is a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things I know - but still, when you pay a couple hundred bucks for a piece of tech you expect something this simple to work properly. If we can put a man on the moon, my phone should be able to perform a simple "If DND = on then VIB(clock) = off".

If anyone has any insight into this issue, or if you need more information, please let us know.
